OK, you've made your decision and placed your order.  So, what happens now on my end.  

First, all of my orders are done in the order they're received.  I don't offer priority orders because that's not fair to other clients.  If you need a gym right away, or are the totally impatient type, consider ordering from my distributor, the Golden Cockatoo.  They have gyms in stock and can ship fast.

All of my orders are done in the order they're received.  Place your order ASAP and I'll get it to you ASAP.  Even an order for 3 in-cage perches are done this way.  Here's why. 

I personally harvest and clean all the Bottlebrush I use.  I never have enough, and can never get enough.  It wouldn't be fair to use my available Bottlebrush to fill an order for someone who ordered after a Play Gym or Hanging Gym order. 

Bottlebrush Play Gyms.  (Floor Gyms)  These gyms require construction of the trays in the size and color ordered.  I normally do trays every 5-7 days and I'll do 10 or more sets at a time.  When those trays are done, they're stacked in the order they'll be used, the oldest order on the top.

Bottlebrush Hanging Gyms.  With these, I build the PVC Hangers and Aluminum arches usually 10 or 20 at a time.  I try to have them in stock, but at some point, need to build them.

With my new larger shop, I'm ably to do more then one thing at a time, and actually try to do trays are arches on the same day at the same time. 

OK, now your trays are done, Aluminum arches and Hangers are done, and I'm ready to start building orders.

Think about a tree, and look at a branch in that tree.  It mounts to the trunk at the thickest part, and tapers to the leaves and twigs at the end.  The thickest part is used for Hyacinth and Green Wing Macaws, then B&G macaws, then Cockatoos, then Amazon, Greys sized birds all the way down to Parakeets. 

So, your order is for a Med Hanging Gym for your Grey, and lets say I have 4 Grey sized orders ahead of you. 

As I start to build, the first order is completed, packed and ready to ship. The second order is for  Macaw gym, the third order a Grey Gym, the fourth and fifth order again Grey sized gym and now I'm ready to build your order for your Greys gym.  At this point, The best selection of Med sized wood has been used and I have two options, use what I have so I can ship your order, or place your order on hold till I get fresh Bottlebrush, which I get once a week. 

If I use what I have, you'll never know the difference, but I would.  You're going to have this gym for a long time, and If I wait till I get more BB and built it RIGHT for you, you'll have a much nicer looking gym, properly sized and configured for YOUR bird using the best selection of Bottlebrush.  After all, you're now on the top of my list, and get the best selection.  I do have people request this position and are willing to wait a little longer if necessary.

When your order is in the "ready to build" category, and you request a status, it's impossible for me to provide you with one.  After all, I have no way of knowing if I'm going to have the right sized BB for your gym till I get ready to build your gym.  I can't win here,.  If I tell you it's almost done, and don't have enough BB, you get upset.  If I tell you it's not ready to ship yet, you get upset.  So here's my promise to you.

You'll get your gym as fast as I can get it to you, but I won't compromise to get it to you fast.  This will be the last gym you ever buy, and if you'll allow me, I'll make it the best gym you've ever bought.

Delays are a part of life in my business.  Perhaps someone buys all the particular color  Formica in stock for your gym and my dealer has to reorder.  In the past, casters have been a problem getting, same thing for the Aluminum I use.  Again, my goal is to get you your gym as fast as possible without compromising quality, I won't do that.  

My new shop is set up and running and I'm here for one reason, to build and ship FAST.  My goal is to have NO pending orders.  I dream of the day when an order is received, I go to my build station and actually build it, then take it to my packing station and pack it, then ship it.  That's my goal.  Will I ever get there?  If I have my way, YES.  I'm not there yet, but that's my goal.

So, all I ask is that you allow me to do what I do best, build high quality Bottlebrush stuff both you and your bird will love.  Together, we CAN change your birds life.
